Professional Experience

Senior Platform Engineer

Feb 2025- Dec 2025

Madison Logic

  • Led a 6-member team to design and implement a production-grade Amazon EKS platform in 3 months, migrating 40 APIs from ECS and enabling 30+ developers to self-deploy.
  • Built a GitOps workflow using GitLab CI and ArgoCD (apps-of-apps, ApplicationSets, hub-spoke model) to automate Docker builds, image versioning, and deployments across staging and production, reducing deployment time from 30 minutes to 10 minutes (3× faster).
  • Created reusable Helm charts for APIs with Ingress, CloudFront, ExternalSecrets for DB credentials, HPA, and post-deploy jobs, standardising deployments and reducing service onboarding effort.
  • Built centralised logging and monitoring for EKS (managed nodes and Fargate) using Grafana, Loki, Alloy, and Fluent Bit.
  • Automated Cloudflare CNAME creation for new applications post-deployment, eliminating manual DNS steps.
  • Developed custom Terraform modules for EKS (auto node groups, RBAC, networking) and integrated autoscaling with cost-efficient node pools to support scalable workloads.
  • Drove 47% cost savings pre-migration by rightsizing 30+ ECS services using Boto3 automation.
  • Migrated 15+ Node.js services to distroless Docker images, strengthening security posture and reducing image sizes.
  • Automated Terraform state management by importing 983+ SSM parameters into a remote backend using a Python code generator, centralising configuration and reducing drift risk.

DevOps Engineer

Aug 2021- Jan 2025

Volkswagen Group Technology Solutions

  • Designed an alerting and monitoring system using Lambda, CloudWatch, and Python, reducing incident response time by 70%.
  • Implemented a shell script for automatic Web Server Restoration, reducing downtime by 90%.
  • Provisioned scalable infrastructure across 3000+ AWS accounts, ensuring compliance with Volkswagen standards.
  • Built modules for VW-compliant VPC, DNS setup, custom VPC peering, and on-prem connectivity via Transit Gateway.
  • Developed a CloudFormation template to attach new CIDR blocks, create subnets, configure NACLs and route tables, and enable EKS pod subnets, mitigating IP exhaustion.
  • Automated incident creation from infrastructure alerts using Lambda and CloudWatch, improving proactive remediation.
  • Wrote Python (boto3, botocove) scripts to automate tasks across multiple AWS accounts.
  • Expert in troubleshooting AWS networking issues and resolving customer queries.
  • Handled CI/CD and infrastructure troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.
  • Managed Dev, Int, and Prod environments of ECS/EC2 infrastructure across 3+ production setups, ensuring high availability.
